The ultra-micro spectrophotometer is a high-precision biological testing instrument based on ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectrophotometry. It is specially designed for the rapid analysis of concentration and purity of biological samples such as nucleic acids (DNA/RNA), proteins and cell lysates using extremely low sample volumes (0.5–2 μL).

Detection Principle

Based on the Beer-Lambert Law (A=εcl) — the absorbance (A) of a solution is proportional to its absorptivity (ε), path length (c) and concentration (l).
